RE Coordinator: Tami Leith – 503-842-6647

RCIA: Partner with adult candidates as they prepare for initiation into the Catholic faith. Volunteer opportunities include sponsors and catechists.

Adult Faith Formation: Faith Formation is a life-long process. Adults of the parish are invited and encouraged to continue growing in the knowledge of their faith by participating in the many varied programs offered throughout the year.

Youth Faith Formation: Religious Education is available on Wednesdays to children grades K through 8. The mission of the process is to deepen the students’ relationship with God by education, prayer and service. Our efforts are directed to increasing their knowledge of the faith and the Parish, and to draw them into the life of the parish community.

High School Faith Formation: Open to High School parishioners.

Catholics Can Come Home: Provide a warm welcoming environment that nurtures inactive Catholics in their return to an active Catholic life as disciples of Jesus Christ.

Parent Classes (English & Spanish): An adult faith formation class for parents of religious education students usually held at the same time of religious education class.

Vacation Bible School: Vacation Bible School is a fun-filled week during the summer where children will learn about Jesus and His great love for us. Volunteers needed to teach, prepare snacks and crafts.

Confirmation Preparation: Confirmation Preparation provides the opportunity for those wishing to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation to study and reflect on the meaning of Christian discipleship and the effects of Confirmation in light of their own personal faith journeys.

Marriage Preparation (English & Spanish): These sessions prepare engaged couples for the Sacrament of Marriage. Information on this program will be given to you as you begin your meetings with the pastor.

Baptism Preparation (English & Spanish): Help prepare parents for the baptism of their child. Share course content while encouraging an adult exchange of questions and ideas to grow faith.

First Communion Preparation: Students in the second grade or higher wishing to receive their First Communion participate in a program for both students and parents to prepare for the Sacrament of Reconciliation and First Eucharist. Participation in a faith formation program is required.

Spiritual Life and Prayer Groups Prayer Chain: We pray for those we are asked to pray for. Open to anyone in the parish who is willing to pray. Prayers are received by email or phone and all we ask you to do is pray for each request.

Library: The Parish Library is available to parishioners to relax, read or check out a book, video or great movie. Church office 503-842-6647.
Adults 21 and over: Adults meet in a comfortable setting to explore our faith and how it affects our lives.

Small Group Faith Sharing: A number of small groups of adult parishioners gather regularly, in parish facilities or in members’ homes, with the intention of sharing and deepening their faith. Check the bulletin.
